ANXIETY: Face It or Dismiss It and Regain Control

Anxiety is a natural response to fear, but it doesn’t have to control your life. In this brief article (and short video), I’m going to talk about anxiety.

Many people today are struggling with anxiety but don’t know how to either face it or dismiss it. In this brief article (and short video), I’m going to show you the difference between the two and how you can regain control.

My experience taught me that anxiety can be the alarm that rings when your life feels unfulfilled. It can be a sign that you’re not doing what you’re supposed to be doing, or that something is missing from your life.

If you’re facing anxiety, there are two things you can do to break the cycle: FACE IT OR DISMISS IT. Facing your anxiety head-on can be daunting, but it’s often the best way to deal with it. Once you understand what’s causing your anxiety, you can work on addressing the root of the problem. Dismissing your anxiety can also be helpful, but only if you’re able to find healthy coping mechanisms to deal with it. If you’re not facing your anxiety, it can control your life and lead to unhappiness.

As I said many times before, in previous videos, anxiety is fear’s obnoxious alarm clock constantly going off in your head to remind you that something isn’t right. It’s the nagging feeling that you’re not doing what you’re supposed to be doing, or that you’re missing something important. Sometimes, anxiety can be a sign that you’re on the right track. It might mean that you’re about to accomplish something great, or that you’re finally facing your fears. But more often than not, anxiety is simply a sign that something is off-kilter in your life. Maybe you’re not as happy as you could be, or maybe you’re stressing out about something that isn’t worth your time and energy.

The key to inner peace and happiness is to find out what you’re meant to do with your life and then do it. It’s not always easy, but it’s worth it. When you accomplish your goals and lead a fulfilling life, stress and anxiety will naturally fall away. So, if you’re feeling like you have lost control, take it as a sign that it’s time to make some changes. Life is too short to waste any more time living someone else’s dream. Find your own path and follow it fearlessly.

If anxiety is preventing you from living your best life, you need to address the root of your fear and reduce stress and increase inner peace. Only then will you be able to silence the alarm and live a peaceful and fulfilled life.
